May 2021 Giveaway: Color It!
It’s high time we gave away a board game here on Dad Suggests, and Color It! is one of our favorite new releases from HABA. We like to share the things our family has been loving recently, so Color It! is a natural choice.
Update 6/3/21: Giveaway Closed! Congrats to Kris K. on winning!
We recently added it to our article about board games for practicing colors, because it’s pretty much the most appropriate fit for a themed article ever. Color It! is a perfect activity for parents or teachers and little ones. Naturally you get the motor skills and color recognition practice that coloring provides - but it’s hard to dismiss the zen-like quality coloring provides for kids of all ages and adults alike.
Basically you roll the dice, you choose a number and color, and you color a matching section. You can even play competitively, trying to avoid coloring neighboring sections the same color, and trying to be the first to finish. But, of course, you can just enjoy the calming activity for what it is as well.
If you do get a copy, make sure to check out the additional coloring sheets for the game that HABA has provided online. They have some that feature other favorite HABA games, and it’s fun to see them continue to support the game in this way. What a great concept all around.
There will be one winner of the board game Color It!. The winner will be chosen at random after the ending date of May 31st, 2021 at 12:00 a.m. EST.
Entry into monthly giveaways is a reward for our newsletter subscribers - to give back to readers for following along with Dad Suggests. So, make sure you are currently a subscriber to our newsletter before entering. (You can find the sign-up box for our newsletter at the bottom of every page on DadSuggests.com.)
The winner will be contacted through the e-mail they provide and subscribe with, and will need to provide a US address for shipping at that time. Open to US addresses only, and you must be 18+ to enter. You can also refer to the official rules for details.
Good luck, and help us spread the word if you know of any parents or teachers that could use a great new game!
