The 2025 Dad Suggests Picture Book Bracket
Are you ready for some March Picture Book Madness? It’s time for the 5th Annual Dad Suggests Picture Book Bracket!
Once again there are two options for the winner of this year’s challenge. If you are local to Fayetteville, you can come in and choose any 4 picture books under $19.99 straight from our shop.
On the other hand, if the winner is somewhere else in the US and chooses to have their prize shipped, they can choose any 4 picture books from this year’s bracket as their prize. Keep in mind that you’re welcome to fill out a bracket and even officially enter your picks even if you aren’t in the US, but the giveaway will only go to the top finisher that has a US address for shipping.
This year we have shrunk the bracket down to 16 amazing contenders. We took the top 4 books from this year’s Dad Suggests Picture Book Awards, and added the TOP 2 BEST BOOKS of every other year we’ve had the awards. Now that’s the cream of the crop folks! Who will come out on top?
How to Enter
Complete your bracket by clicking on the START VOTING button on the bracket above. Enter your name and email. Then choose the winner of each match-up as they pop up on your screen. Your picks will be saved and we’ll reach out to the top scorer at the end of the competition by email.
Each round grows in value, beginning with 2 point per correct pick in round 1, 3 points in round 2, 5 points in round 3, and 6 points for the championship. Winners of each matchup are chosen by vote in our Instagram stories. So make sure to pay attention to our Instagram stories beginning on March 24th, and vote for your picks! (You can also refer to the full schedule below.)
Keep in mind that the winner must have a US address to ship the books to, and that only 1 entry per person is allowed. Duplicate entries will be deleted. You can also refer to the contest rules for more details. Entries will close shortly before the first round begins - you have until the end of the day on Sunday the 23rd!
Tiebreaker:
The first tiebreaker is picking the most correct books in round 4, followed by round 3, round 2, and round 1.
If the first tiebreaker does not break the tie, or if the tie is caused by an identical bracket, the tie will be settled by which bracket was entered first.
Voting will begin in our Instagram stories on Monday, March 24th. Simply visit our stories on the day of voting, and vote for your favorite in each matchup. And make sure to tell your friends and try to get them to vote for your picks too! The official bracket and scores will be updated as the winner of each round is decided. And the winner will be contacted at the conclusion of the competition.

Monday, March 24th - Round 1
Tuesday, March 25th - Round 2
Wednesday, March 26th - Round 3
Thursday, March 27th - Championship
