November 2021 Giveaway: Family Boom
For November I really wanted to give away a family game that will work well for the upcoming holidays - and we recently discovered the perfect fit. It’s a card game called Family Boom, and I’m excited to say that we’ll be sharing it with one of you very soon!

We recently posted about the game on Instagram, and we actually enjoyed it so much that we even added it to our article about games to play on Thanksgiving. It has that perfect quality to it of spanning a very wide age range - something vital for games that are meant to be played with all the extended family coming into town. This one is perfect for a large multi-generational family gathered around the table.
My kids honestly adore this simple game, which consists entirely of a very large stack of cards. And the rules are incredibly simple - draw a card and do what it says. Perhaps you’ll be issued a challenge to perform, or a new rule to remember. Maybe it will be a duel between you and another player.
The variety is endless, and the humor is phenomenal. Nobody will ever forget when I had to call my friend’s son “Sweetie Pie” for the rest of the game. It’s a very funny game, and legitimately fun as well. Even when we aren’t playing, my kids often ask me to draw a few cards just for fun and ideas. And I can’t wait to share the family fun with one of you this holiday season!
