February Giveaway: Rory's Story Cubes
The two pillars of Dad Suggests are kids books and family games - and Rory’s Story Cubes combines both in a very satisfying way. While you’re playing, you get to sit back and listen to someone else tell you a story, and you also get to get creative and make up your own tales to share. Because this game basically pushes all of our buttons, we couldn’t be more excited to give some away to you this month.
Update 2/24/2019: Giveaway now closed! Congratulations to Stephanie G. and Cassandra D. on winning!
A set of Rory’s Story Cubes has 9 dice, with a different picture on every single side - making a total of 54 images to mix and match. Our favorite way to play is taking turns rolling all of the dice and telling a story using every single image you get. It’s really a blast and a true joy to play with creative little ones.
We’re giving away 2 copies of the original Rory’s Story Cubes published by Gamewright. In case you weren’t aware, we need to specify that it’s the original set because there are multiple themed sets out there now - making the storytelling possibilities really feel limitless. Personally we have the original set, the fantasia set, Adventure Time, and Looney Tunes. If you end up collecting sets like us, you could toss all of them in one bag and really randomize your stories.
There will be 2 winners this month. Winners will be chosen at random after the ending date of February 24th at 12:00 a.m. EST. Each winner will receive one copy of Rory’s Story Cubes. Entry into monthly giveaways is a reward for our subscribers, so in order to be eligible for entry you must simply subscribe to our newsletter. (You can find the sign-up box for our newsletter at the bottom of every page on DadSuggests.com.)
And, as you’ll see, there are a few optional ways to earn extra entries if you’d like to increase your chances! The winners will be contacted through the e-mail they provide and will have to provide a US address for shipping at that time. Open to US mailing addresses only and you must be 18+ to enter. Let us know if you have any questions in the comments. You can also refer to the official rules.
Good luck! And help us spread the word to any parents or teachers out there that might enjoy this really engaging game of storytelling!
