January Giveaway: Back to the Future Picture Book
I really hope you’ve been paying attention to the Pop Classics series of books. Kim Smith and Quirk Books continue to deliver nostalgia-inducing, must-have picture books for parents who grew up in the 80s and 90s. And this month I’m excited to share a copy of one of our favorite Pop Classics with one of you - Back to the Future.
(Update 2/6/20) GIVEAWAY CLOSED! Congrats to Heather S.!)
This beautiful adaptation of Robert Zemeckis’ legendary film was actually our son’s first introduction to the story - something that’s turning out to be something of a pattern in our house. I’m having an absolute blast introducing our kids to some of my favorite films this way. They become completely familiar with the plot and the characters - and then they actually greatly anticipate the day when we finally allow them to watch the original films.
The same way that Home Alone began an obsession with setting booby traps, Back to the Future began an obsession with the concept of time travel in our son. It’s a real pleasure to see his imagination go into overdrive walking around the house talking about flux capacitors - and twice as fun when it’s because of a story I have so much nostalgia for!
There will be one winner of a paperback copy of the Back to the Future picture book by Quirk Books and Kim Smith. The winner will be chosen at random after the ending date of January 31st, 2020 at 12:00 a.m. EST.
Entry into monthly giveaways is a reward for our subscribers - to give back to readers for following along with Dad Suggests. So, make sure you are currently a subscriber to our newsletter before entering. (You can find the sign-up box for our newsletter at the bottom of every page on DadSuggests.com.)
And, as you’ll see, there are a few optional ways to earn extra entries if you’d like to increase your chances! Good luck! And help us spread the word if you know of any parents or teachers out there that would love to get their hands on this amazing book.
