July 2021 Giveaway: Except Antarctica!
This month we’ve teamed up with Sourcebooks to offer you a chance to win a hilarious, brand-new picture book by Todd Sturgell called Except Antarctica!. I’m excited about this one because you just can’t go wrong with a good comedy, and kids are going to love this one. I can’t wait to get it into someone’s hands!

And, thanks to Sourcebooks, we’re also opening up the eligibility outside of the US for this month as well - and I’m happy to announce that this giveaway includes our friends in Canada as well! I’m very glad that we’re able to extend our reach a little bit with this one, and open up the pool of who might end up with this very funny book.
The general idea about this book is that it’s like a nature documentary, where a voice-over narrator is talking about a turtle. But when he points out that turtles are found on every continent except for Antarctica, the turtle is a bit offended, and takes it as a challenge to prove the narrator wrong.
It’s a hilarious concept to build the book around, and I think a lot of kids (and adults!) out there will relate with the hilarious lengths the turtle goes to just to prove a point. It’s definitely one of the funniest picture books we’ve read this year, and I can’t wait to send it to one of you!
