March Giveaway: The Dark by Lemony Snicket
As far as reading is concerned, I was practically raised by R. L. Stine’s Goosebumps. I had a voracious appetite for everything spooky. And a very high percentage of my fondest and most vivid memories of kids books have to do with scary stories. It’s probably fair to say that’s why I am so attracted to Lemony Snicket’s The Dark now as a dad. It’s definitely one of the best scary picture books of all time - and I’m very excited to share it with a reader this month.

If you’ve never read The Dark, make sure to check out our article to see why we like it so much. A very big part of its magic comes from the fact that it’s illustrated by Jon Klassen - an artist so beloved in our house we’ve bought several chapter books we knew nothing about, only because they contain a handful of his illustrations. The combination of Klassen’s art and Snicket’s writing leads to some seriously, legitimately creepy pages. So if you’re looking for something spooky for the little ones, this is the giveaway for you!
There will be one winner of a hardback copy of The Dark by Lemony Snicket. The winner will be chosen at random after the ending date of March 31st at 12:00 a.m. EST. Entry into monthly giveaways is a reward for our subscribers, so in order to be eligible for entry you must simply subscribe to our newsletter.
